Notes Regarding Host Name
Restricting IMAP
Some users have reported a problem where Zoë attempts to read and index content outside of the users IMAP account. While this behaviour is likely the result of a poorly configured email server, you can restrict Zoë to a given inbox:
Suffix the IMAP server's hostname with a slash followed by the IMAP path prefix.
eg.
- imap.myisp.com/mail.
The above will usually resolve to $HOME/mail on unix systems. For more information regarding the issue and for a newer, more flexible solution, see
Restricting Imap.
Changing Port Settings for POP Accounts
There is a way to set a different pop port for each email account in Zoë:
Add the port number to the host name directly.
eg.
- mail.com:1110
